The National University of Singapore NUS is merging the University Scholars Programme USP and Yale-NUS College into a new college which has yet to be officially named said NUS in a media release on Friday 27 August Yale-NUS will continue to run its academic co-curricular and research programmes until the end of academic year 202425.

Since its inception Yale-NUS has been primarily funded by the Singaporean government. 1 day agoA first year student at Yale-NUS - who declined to be named because the university has told students not to speak to media - said some students are considering dropping out of the Yale-NUS component of the double-degree programme in law. Yale-NUS is the first institution outside New Haven Connecticut that Yale University has developed in its 300-year history making Yale the first American Ivy League school to establish a college bearing its name in Asia.
